All Duvet Duck products are hand filled in the UK using state of the art filling machines fitted with load cell technology that weigh within a tolerance of a single gram.

After years of tog testing a calculation is made to establish the fill weight required for each tog rating of the duvet and the correct fill weight is blown into each individual pocket.

The filling is pre-weighed in the bins shown down to a fill of between 5 and 70 grams depending on the filling quality and tog rating required. This means that the correct weight of filling is put into each pocket for overall warmth and comfort. After the agreed weight is in the bin then it is extracted using a high pressure vacuum system.

That puts the filling via a thin pipe into therequired pocket, this process is repeated until all the duvet is filled and the filling slots are double sewn to seal them.

In the case of toppers it is slightly different as a large fill is needed to produce a soft and supportive base to sleep on so each pocket needs up to three fills to get the required level of support each of the chambers have a built in wall to keep the filling in its a allocated place so they do not move around a you sleep on them.

All cases are 100% cotton 230 threads per square inch
and are feather proof. The top layer of fabric on the
toppers is fire retardant.
